I’m looking to buy a longboard on like Amazon?
I’m a girl and 5′5 and 120 pounds, I used to skateboard and I snowboard so I want to try to longboard. I’m just look for a cheap one so I can get into and then buy a nicer one later on at like Billabong. Does this one seem fine? Thing is, if you buy a cheap board, it isn’t going to be anywhere near as fun as a quality board, and then you might not get into it. That Moose board is just a flat plank of wood with crap trucks and wheels. It isn’t going to turn well no matter what you do to it, you’re going to have to push a lot because of the shit wheels, and it’s going to break very easily.
Cheap crappy boards also have next to zero resale value. You’re better off grabbing a quality board, then if you don’t like it, at least you can sell it and make some money back.
Something like this would be a great board that you can learn on, and will still have fun on when/if you decide to get more into longboarding.
