Baker Skateboards Review
Since I myself took a look at them earlier last year, I have been a fan. The sleek exterior usually covered in a patent leather or Italian leather style finish along with the ankle cut sets them off so perfectly in my eyes. My, my, feel remorse for the heart of the woman who witnesseth your boy in these. Slim will be the sweet nothings I whispereth in her ear, my shoes will do the talking. Equipped in countless, beautiful, unique colorways, Supra sneakers are in my opinion world class pieces of footwear.
Now someone like me has an image to uphold when I do step out. I can’t be in the eye of the public domain with tennis shoes that have no consistency in color and style design. Not I. The sophistication of these Supras (and all Supras for that matter) is tremendous. When your shoes are sophisticated, you look sophisticated….It’s a proven fact. Well not really.
Also what adds to these shoes are their origin, designed for the professional skateboarder Terry Kennedy (Compton ass Terry or TK). It took Terry Kennedy about thirty seconds to learn skateboarding, a couple months to get sponsored, and only three years to go pro. Growing up in the streets of Long Beach and skating with pros from Baker skateboards definitely helped, but it’s undeniable-TK’s got what we call talent. The TK Society Supra sneakers totally embody what Terry Kennedy is as an athlete.
Now along with every great shoe of course comes a very GREAT bootlegging wave. It is important that you find these sneakers in their correct form-authentic. I took the time to purchase them from a particular store online (read on for url), and within a week I had exactly what I expected. I have noticed a lot of fakes and variants across ebay, so I prefer to stay away from there for the most part.
The Supra TK Society are monumental shoes. They’re unique design is captivating, and they’re material is flawless. If you’re looking for a legit pair of skate sneakers that are far more than your average, visit get your TK’s as soon as you can.
That’s all for me.

what skateboard deck has the best quality for skating big stair sets?
Hey yahoo viewers, I have a pretty difficult question and I need your opinions or answers. I currently wear a size 14 shoe, I weigh 148 and im 6′ 2″. I prefer to skate stair sets or gaps. I guess you could say I need a board that wont break easily because of misplacement of my feet and a board that is light with pop. Now Ive read reviews on many boards. I have ridden a Plan B, Element, Blank and Flip. I thought Plan B was too heavy and Element had a wierd feeling to it. Ive had my eyes set on Almost, Zero, Baker and Alien Workshop. What would you viewers recommend? If you have any links to websites that back up your answer, it would help.
I will pick the best answer.
Thanks, Allen
All of the boards you named tend to be around 7.5,7.63, and 7.75 and around 6 through 8 ply (How many levels of wood is compressed together to form the skatboard). They are lighter boards, as that’s what I skate (I’m about 140-150 and 5′9″).
I don’t really know what to tell you as far as wanting something very durable, but light. You could spend hella money on an almost impact board, but you’d be better of just spending the 100$ on buying 10 blanks from ebay (they don’t come with grip you have to buy and apply it yourself separately).
So, my advice, just buy cheap ass blank decks from ebay and buy the grip from ebay too,(this is what I do, the boards are still very good quality, it’s just that you’re buying them from a whole seller and they can sell it stupidly cheap, unlike a skateshop) and just break boards all the time
or you could venture into the heavier 8″ deck that are like 10 ply.
Dark star is a very good brand for this. Remember landing bolts will help not break your shit. I break my boards all the time landing on the nose when I pop my tres going down sets. Ebay search 8″ blanks and look for the 5 packs. =]
Hope I helped.
EDIT:: never skate the same sized boards all the time, as you never know what’s really the best untill you try it. If you can, last time I say they had a variety pack that included 7.5, 7.63, 7.75, 8,and 8.25. I’d try that just to really get a feeling of what size boards you like.
