what is the problem with my nokia 5700? will it ever be fixed?
I’m NOT livin’ in the US. the problem is that i bought a Nokia 5700 XpressMusic phone,about two-three months ago, and it’s has issues.
when i bought it it was fyn and looking great, it had a one year warranty.but after about a month,one day tried to change my ring tone , but my phone was on silent, so i switched profile back to normal. as went to chnge the tone, the phone showed no error but it did not change the ring tone neither, so i decided to reset the phone, but it didn’t start up. i took it to the warranty place, and they accused of water-damaging the phone and told me that new kits are needed to fix it, ad since – as they said – it was water damged, i had to pay. they fixed , but now after 3 weeks, the exact same thing happed. i don’t kno wat was wrong then and now. as i try to switch the phone on, only the nokia logo coms up. it dsn’t go any further and stays like that for 5 mins, then, the screen goes blank. i cnt swich off either, i have to take out the battery, hlp!
Instead of dealing with you local sales office, contact a refional or national office. If they tell you to contact the office where you bought it, tell them you already have and have also paid for warranty repairs (even though you shouldn’t have had to), Keep pushing the regional or national office to get involved and solve your problem. Don’t let them off the hook. Keep after them.
