Conquer extreme athletes mother nature with technology!
At some point mid-1990 when the X Games are just entering their own athletes and were starting to go "extreme" has a group of snowboarders and inventors together under the direction of Steen Strand and created the unique sport of Freebording. Essentially, Strand wanted to combine the grace and ease of lateral movement (or "mobile") allows the snowboard with fun for the whole year of skateboarding. Technically, the boards have been reduced to more manageable sizes and weights besides losing their tails kicked. The wheels have been subjected to numerous redesigns, ending with a piece of hardware machine that keeps its ball bearings adjusted and tightened. In addition, the plates of the trucks have been greatly expanded base for stability and strength.
