Does anyone out there is nothing broken once in a RipStik ® Caster Board?
I'm trying to convince my mom to buy me a … said it was too dangerous!
i ride a board of ricin, but I do not ride the Ripstik, I ride 'The Wave'. I tried both together, and the wave was as a better smoother ride. I've been traveling for over a year and I've never broken a bone. castor boards wipeouts can not really huge, unless trying to do something crazy, def some sweet videos / photos on thewave.com to see what I mean. but as far as just riding the board and make some simple tricks, but sweet not dangerous. when you fall forward or backward, limbs forum in that direction and your feet touch the ground, unlike a skateboard where if you falls, it automatically drops a few inches to the ground. in the wake of the tips of the board and put your feet near or right on the floor. basically does not allow for wipeouts wrong.
