The birth of the Gorilla Street Urban Wear

The street is this mythical giant creature every clothing brand wants to be part of, but do not know how make the puzzle pieces together to get there. It's like the popular kids in high school that everyone wants to be with, but you keep getting rejected when you try too friendly. It's an industry that generated only in the last decade and is gradually become a runaway train, fueled by a 500-pound gorilla. Some people say the phrase "street clothes" is too worn out and they probably reason still can not deny its existence. manufacturers of clothes have long understood that's all the rage "Urban". clothing brands this industry has created urban hip-chic, where people prefer to buy a new shirt or a pair of limited edition shoes instead of paying your bill electricity. Who needs light when you look fly as hell right?

You see, I can write this article because I personally witnessed the transition of the industry first hand more and more. When I was 6 years old, my parents gave me a board skate for my birthday and I never left. I like skateboarding was still a nightmare pink on Elm Street with wheels, skateboarding yellow banana. He was very ill at the time. I quickly started to read all the magazines skate there. I think I had a one year subscription of 10 to Thrasher. I can almost remember all the magazines in skateboarding circa 1986 and I noticed the change of culture and style and evolve dramatically in recent years. Almost 25 years later even area that was once frowned upon is booming. At that time, skateboarding was not "accepted" and most people who are not very friendly skaters themselves, if they were skating a bully, pure and simple. It was not accepted by any culture or time. When you saw people wearing a booth which will terrified thinking they were going to steal your wallet. Now is skateboarding in the Olympics!

In 1986, I contacted my first skater style and it was the beginning of the apparel industry for me. Vi brands such as Vision, Powell Peralta and Airwalk pave the way for today's urban brands. Many urban-inspired apparel for today come from parents that God streetwear created several years ago. Without them, the industry would not be what it is today.

Mark quickly began to go that the children where he's really starting to dig these things. T-shirts, brand caps and all that comes to mind slowly began to steal every store shelves. I remember my school to buy a catalog of California cheap for 5 consecutive years as skates, BMX and was only and start building a new impetus to the urban street. At that time, was Chuck Taylor and the Red Hot Chili Peppers today many sculptures of urban street. Now idols Urban and figures are on the covers of some of the more general magazines, cereal boxes and trading at auction in the world representing the favorite streetwear brands.

When hip-hop has found its way into the scene has changed things. Not for better or worse, it just added another element to the industry. This was another way to capitalize on a brand new demographic urban. I remember about 12 years and the only person at school to hear Black Sheep, and I loved it! Today, marriage between hip hop skate and style created a catalyst for what the street clothes, the industry today. In southern California Coast culture Scanning skate west to the east coast, the children of downtown quickly began to create a new type of reference for the skate culture we see today. Children today are exposed to some of the best elements of style and quickly began to see the urban background entering the garment industry of skateboarding. We were still many years of Nike SB, but was starting to move in that direction. A movement was born quickly and is now in the world use a skateboard or BMX rider to promote their brands and know. It is trendy to be part of this community niche and is only getting stronger. Small children they just license buy houses for their parents the money they earn in this sector.

Yes, many brands are trying to remove street wear labels online on the mark, but the reality is that it's an industry that is extremely broad and strong. New brands are appearing every day and make very interesting things. Just when you think you've seen everything, a brand surrounded by a Lego theme seems quite exciting creative sense. The apparel industry is a street youth movement and we will see radical evolvement of the gorilla in the very near future.

Help in choosing a brand of clothing?

I'm about to start my own clothing. I am directed to older adults 18 to 25. I would like my line of urban clothing to reflect on New York Hip-Hop, Punk, skateboarding / snowboarding or MMA (Mixed Martial Arts, for example, UFC). I have a very difficult time coming up with a name. Some who accompanied: 7 Wonder, 8th wonder, sensational, the prerogative, Hustle & Flow, name completion. Please help me choose a name, or add an idea for one. Would greatly appreciated.

Seventh Wonder. 8 th wonder. Hustle & Flow. None of these work well.
