Why do NBA players wear elbow pads, sleeves, legs and sleeves?
I'm curious why they do it.
The initial goal is to provide support and cushion in the event of a fall or by crook. Some players are encouraged to use the elbow sleeves to cover gang tattoos and images obscene words. NBA is all class.
