decent beginner skateboard setup?
alright im going for light with good pop… overall good for learning on with this setup:
Enjoi Rasta 8.1 Deck
Venture Black & Orange trucks (with 1/8th raisers)
spitfire black 53mm wheels
bone REDS bearings
mob grip
shorty’s lil’ 1″ hardware
At the moment I have a blind deck but soon i’m getting the rasta panda with rasta venture trucks and bones STF(Street Tech Formula) wheels. However im getting the 7.5 wide deck. 8.1 is too wide for me. I find that its easier to flip the deck with a thinner deck but then again i’ve never ridden a wide deck.
Everything seems like a good choice though (personally i’d get the thinner deck but it up to you)
The rasta venture trucks go well with this deck as well! 
Definately a fine setup.
By the way..just because the set-up for the guy below is good for him does not mean that is the best deck for you. There are good set-ups and bad set-ups for beginners and yours is good.
Not heavy and plenty of pop.
