I need help dressing myself?
I’m a dude, senior in high-school. I skateboard but don’t really dress like a ’skater’… I own a few solid colored shirts, a few pairs of jeans(brown, blue, gray, and black.) and 3 solid colored hoodies… My options are limited, any ideas on how to make my slightly boring wardrobe stick out a bit more? Haha, thanks.
If you need an example of the way I currently dress, the closest thing I can think of is the way the guy in the Mac commercials dresses. (not the old one… obviously. :])
Accessorize. Maybe buy 1 or 2 really unique hats or a cool belt buckle or watch. It sounds like all of your things are solid colored, which is a good base but it’s not going to “stand out” at all. Try a hat or a pair of shoes with a pattern on them, or you can try layering your clothes (short sleeve over long sleeve). Some skaters also wear sweat bands on their wrists (which is actually practical if you skate, as well as stylish), or you could try a leather band on your wrist.
