what is the latest computer package to get, is it xp?
I am about to purchase a computer Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition comes with, I am wondering if this is new or and old hardware. I do not know too mcuh about my intended purchase, would love some info on what package, Should I buy XP or get Windows 98 or something. Am I right in thinking that its 98, 99, 2000, and should I take it as gospel or with a pinch of salt?
XP, soon to be Vista (when released).
XP home edition will be fine for you.
Professional is a little better, but only really for networking.
If the PC comes with it, don’t buy another XP.
98, 2000 and millenium are ancient and totally crappy, don’t get these at all!!!!!!
Oh, and you’re talking about software.
Hardware is what the software needs to run on, and hardware needs the software so you can use it.
