Medium Skateboard Helmet

Skateboarding Helmet Question?

My head is an ADULT Medium based on Sports Authority’s sizing chart. I need to know if I should get a $20 Triple Eight helmet, or just a cheap Wal-Mart one for less, is their a difference?
