I want to write an adventure story, where do I start?
I've been reading "The Call of the Wild" by Jack London, and it inspired me to write a short story about my dog Moose, who died last Christmas. I would like to finish in time for Christmas as a gift for my mother. Can you give some ideas of where to start? my mind seems to go blank every time I start writing. He was very nice. How I can write a story is to find inspiration from one thing to another. Turn your home and look at things moose liked to play and go from there. You do not need to make a plot, only feel your way and that is the way to make a short story. You do not need to be a masterpiece, do not spend much time in a part of the story (is to keep moving) and the symbolism used, the cute things your mom too, understand.
