is this a good skateboard?
Powell Golden Dragon skateboards are made from premium North American Hard Rock Maple
These have a deep concave it adds significant stiffness to a deck and allows us to reduce thickness and weight without losing pop and response. It also features a steep flat nose and tail.
Trucks are cast aluminum. The axles are carbon steel as well as the kingpin. The bushings are high rebound polyurethane and make turning easy and smooth.
Wheels are high rebound , hand cast polyurethane wheels that provide great roll and grip.
The bearings are skate rated, equivalent to the bones reds.
Skate rated bearings don’t have an abec rating as they are designed for the impact of jumping etc, whereas an abec bearing is designed for household machines like a washing machine and not neccesarily suited for skateboarding, so these are a higher spec than an abec 9.
Powell is a great company to buy a board from. They have steep concave for bigger pops.
The trucks sound alright. Aluminum is good and lightweight which is what you should look for.
You should just get Bones Reds instead of taking a chance on some no namer.
