Experts – Can someone please direct me to a decent operating system for old (pre-’98) computer?
I have an old, complete system capable of running windows 98SE (166mhz intel, CD drive, 64mb ram). Unfortunately it has a completely blank hard drive and I can’t find a good linux (or other free os) distro for it. It will be doing broadband internet browsing, word processing, accessing a network (with other new Windows XP Pro computers). A GUI is necessary, as is a completely blank install and bootable disk. I am very capable around hardware and software once into windows GUI, not so much dos-type stuff. Thanks in advance for your answers
