Choosing the Perfect skateboard
Looking to buy a new board, but the moment you step into your local head start turn? Do not worry, it happens to the best of us at one time or another. With all the new plates and being thrown out these days, even a veteran skater may have problems to stay.
Of course, buying any of the top skateboard pro is supposed to be fun, not give you the feeling you have when you wake up and see that it is raining outside (indoor skate park hello!). So to help make your shopping experience on board a little more enjoyable, here's a quick guide to buying for the next time you visit your local store.
The first thing to note is that the label Price you see hanging is not always the best way to tell if a card is good or not. Aboard a high price will not always be the best option for you. How long skate be the number one factor to consider when buying a new board. What's your style? Would you like a fat tip or a long board? If you're big or small?
These are all important factors to consider when purchasing board. For example, if you are not packing weight, you can go for a small deck, but if are larger, then you have a solid deck.
Go and visit some local shops on board and start educating yourself. Almost all employees of these stores is a skater and can tell you exactly what you should look. For example, if you are new to skating, then it is a good idea to start with a beginner board with a wide deck. You have to consider not only the correct cover size, but the type of wheels that need to be done skating. Take time and test the various boards, then get an idea of what each shop is charging for their favorite card.
Finally, go online and see if you can get the card cheaper than in your local store. Be sure to consider shipping costs before making your final decision. Remember, be patient ask many questions, and just buy a card that is comfortable.
