Is a ripstik good for practising surf technique?
I have a ripstik and i rip on it (lol!) but peple tell me its bad for my surfing technique and bad for surfing posture. I could get a longboard or a skateboard (and loosen the trucks) but im only 13 and i dont have that sort of money! And Carveboards and Hamboards are like AU$599.99 (holy crap)
i live 45 mins from the surf but still i go in comps (and with out much practise) so i really need to practise on my driveway with the closest thing to surfing onland i can!!!!
I’ve been on a ripstik and I don’t think it does much for my surfing. The following companies make good surf training boards that will help you develop the muscle memory you need to push your surfing.
