Kit Aquascene an aquarium for a betta fish?

I just bought a liter of 2.5 for my fish aquarium betta and now I wonder if it is right for her … I I could not find online, but here is a description. INCLUDES: 1. UL light cover aquarium with 7 watt incandescent bulb 2. Undergravel system filter with the bottom plate, air diffuser, central tube and airline tubing 3. Aquarium air pump was in the same section as the others but Betta Aquariums looking back now, the others have no filters and airpumps so I'm worried that it might be too much for a betta. So my question is, does this sound is OK for a male Betta? He seems happy, but I know it can be hard to know for sure with a fish. Thanks in advance. :) Oops. This is a tank 3.5 liters. Therefore, it is almost a full gallon.

Unfortunately that's a bit of a waste tank. If it were me these ridiculously small tanks would not be on the shelves. They are often too expensive and you could probably pick something triple the volume for the same price you paid for it, and love more Betta stops. Usually anything labeled specifically "Betta Aquarium" is too small for fish to live comfortably and should be avoided at all costs! Bettas need heaters and filters the same as any other fish, however, these filters must have completed the nitrogen cycle and not put too much current as Bettas are not swimmers. In a new tank with a fish plonked on the chemistry of water can easily go off the table and make fish sick. Starting a new tank can be a little complicated! http://www.theaquariumwiki.com/Betta_splendens http://www.theaquariumwiki.com/Beginning_Fishkeeping
