Is it a good idea to spray paint my skateboard trucks?
I recently spraypainted my skateboard deck (it looks amazing btw), and i wanted to spray my trucks bright orange, they’re silver right now, i didn’t know if i should because they’re metal. so should i? and if so, how many coats? (bonus points if you answer if i should spray my wheels too. lol)
You can spray paint ANYTHING you could ever imagine. Just be sure to buy the right kind of spray paint for what you’re using it for. For your trucks, get a paint that works for metal. It may take two coats. Paint your wheels with a spray paint thats good for outdoor plastics. It may wear off around wheel but the sides showing should be okay. If they scratch off, spray again!
