BMX or Skateboard Helmet?
Heres the deal.
I just got a BMX park bike, supossed to be getting it in next week. I also got a skateboard not that long ago. I used to skateboard a few years ago but i got pretty rusty.
I need to get a helmet, no matter how stupid it looks, i know i will be falling alot and decided on Pro-tec.
Should I get a BMX pro-tec helmet or a Skateboard pro-tec helmet?
Which one is better or covers more area?
The shells are the same for bike, skate or snow for the same model. So if you get a B2 bike, it will be the same on the outside as the B2 skate. The difference is the padding. Bike helmets for street use must meed certain standards that skate or BMX helmets don’t need to meet. Either helmet will work for both sports. I use a skate helmet, Classic for both skating and biking. For longboard racing I use a BMX helmet (Shovelhead). Other than a full face helmet, I’d go with the Ace. It covers a little more in the back of the head.
