I got a Tony Hawk Birdhouse Platinum skateboard, the wheels confuse me….?
First off the whole complete was about 75 dollars, It has abec 5 bearings on it and 53mm wheels, thing is some of the wheels spin faster the the others, one is twice the speed then the others….why is this?
abec 3 I mean.
Make sure all the truck nuts are loosened the same amount. Try tightening them all down until the wheel doesn’t really spin, then loosen the nut 1 turn on each truck. Keep doing this until there is the same amount of play in each wheel. Sometimes 1 or more of the nuts maybe tightened too much. And in some cases 1 or more of the bearings may have more oil in it than the others making that bearing a little slower until some of the oil dries out. I hope this helps you out.
