Crazy for Fashion Footwear
Let me give you a glimpse into your future. No, no, I’m no psychic – but I am a little psycho when it comes to shoes. And not just any shoes – Etnies in London, ever heard of it?
My shoe vision came to me when I saw a pair of Etnies’ sandals online. Just a plain pair of flat sandals, I instantly fell in love. And as far as I knew, Etnies was solely (excuse the pun) dedicated to snow sports, skateboarding, surfing, and other extreme sports, but boy, was I wrong.
So that’s where my journey started. Etnies boasts itself as an adventurous and active shoe label, and so they are. But why was this stopping me? Just because I don’t balance well on a skateboard or surf well on the sea doesn’t mean that I too can’t participate in the Etnies craze. Upon making a decision as to which pair to buy, I was impressed by the diversity and funky designs. MySpace sneaks? Absolute shoe madness – and I loved it!
Deciding to go with a pair of Etnies’ Perry Mid B4BC, I had no idea what I was getting my feet into, but when I found out, I wanted ten more pairs. The Perry Mid B4BC shoes were designed with Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC), in support of this most devastating disease. Having had a family member of my own die from breast cancer, I understood the plight many women have to face. I was glad to pay for my super cute, extra comfy, pink Etnies, especially knowing what I was supporting.
But I didn’t stop there. I went back. Again, and again, and again. After learning that my sister had bought my nephew a skateboard for Christmas, I immediately went out and picked up a pair of Kids Ronins – black, white and green – and he loved them. You might even say he was more fond of them than he was the skateboard, but don’t tell my sister that. My nephew showed me a few skateboarding moves on his new ride, and I just had to try it. Now I know one thing for sure – the sneakers look better on me, than I look on the skateboard.
Without trainers shoes fashion is incomplete, trainers shoes are not only stylish and fashionable but also very comfortable
Lastly, I bought my own little girl a pair of pink and white Fader- Crib Infants. Too adorable! My husband is the only one left. I’ll have him converted yet.

A good place for longboarding in London area ??
Does anyone do longbarding in London? If so, can you tell me where?
I live in Harrow-on-the-Hill area, on top of the hill. My neighborhood would be a skater’s heaven if it wasnt for those crapy paved sidewalks that kill any kind of bearings. i dont dear skating on streets either, the draffic is too intense and the steet are so congested that skating on them is impossible.
I cant do any tricks (i have a longboard not a skateboard) so please dont suggest any skate parks.
my setup: 76mm ABEC11 Gumballs wheels, Bones Swiss Super 6 bearings, Randall 180 longbaord trucks all mounted on a regular 8X32 inch doublekick board.
What i dream about is a nice steep road, a bit wider than those found in london, long enough to keep me carving for at least 2-3 mins. Any idea ???
