Parks and Beaches
- City Park, located in downtown Kelowna, this public park facing the beach is located on the shores of Lake Okanagan, including a long sandy beach (Hot Sands Beach) children's water park, bowling, playground, picnic area, skateboard park, athletics track, sports fields, restaurants, concessions and restrooms and changing rooms.
- Knox mountain located in the heart of the city, Knox Mountain includes a variety of trails and views of the city and Lake Okanagan. The park includes restrooms, gazebo on top of a hill, a picnic area, playground, tennis courts and a multitude of mountain biking and hiking trails.
- Parks Alive-June to September, this program aims to nonprofit Kelowna and Lake Park with a little art and culture. Enjoy great variety of music and entertainment while you relax and enjoy the beautiful Parks in Kelowna. It's something the whole family will love! All productions Parks Alive free. a snowboard or ski? ?
I live in Long Island so it's hard for me to make a mountain every day. I never been snowboarding, but im going soon. I am looking for really well and I know it takes practice, I'm good at the plate skateboarding and I'm right down the hill in a huge snowboarding when you go sledding. I wondered how many times the average person does not live nearby a mountain ski or snowboard?
'Ll Go hardcore every weekend or every 2 weeks. You can try to mass western regions as Catamount, Ski Butternut and Jiminy Peak, and north of the PS or the Adirondacks. Pocono Pennsylvania areas are only small hills, not much higher than the hills Island. Most places of Catskill, Hunter Mountain in particular are ridiculously crowded on weekends. Although economic conditions may have cleared the crowd runs.
