Calling all Blondes!: Hair Products?
about 3 weeks ago I got my hair colourd from dark brown [nat. colour] to a platinum/white blonde. I love it. However I don’t know what products to use.
I know people are going to say… you ask 3 weeks later??
Ive been in the hospital for emergency surgery and ICU for 2 weeks due to a dumb skateboarding accident [acting blonde already...] so I haven’t had the time to wash my hair and I still don’t. Broken jaw and collarbone means my mommy and grandma [depends on the day] get to wash my hair for me!
We ran out of my current shampoo/conditioner so I’m wondering what products to use?

Do I need to deep condition my hair? If so [it was bleached obv.], how often?

What is the texture of your hair? I have bleached my hair for years, but have never really bought any sort of super special product. My hair does best when I switch up my shampoo/conditioner every time it runs out. It helps prevent one product from building up in my hair. If my color starts to get dull or brassy, I use “sea lights” that I buy from taylor maid. Warning: it is DARK purple, so use it quick and get it out of your hair. I then use my normal shampoo again to make sure the purple is out, then I condition.
I have used off brand Pantine Pro, Fructis, Herbal Essence, ect. I have also used salon brand Matrix (orange bottle), biolage. I have thick, coarse hair.
