What kind of skateboard should I buy my son for Christmas?
My son is 8 years old and wants a new skateboard for Christmas. He has been riding one that we bought at a garage sale two years ago. He wants something a little bit “cooler” now and I do not know what is cooler.
Some background;
He is okay, but he wants to learn tricks, skate on ramps, etc.
I want to buy him all new accessories, also. (shoes, helmet, pads… whatever he needs to be safe).
I do not want to spend over $200.00 everything. (is that possible?)

You can buy a complete skateboard online for $100. A regular custom complete can cost about $150. You might be able to buy shoes for sale online, maybe for $50-$60. This stuff can be pricey. Go to a skateshop and ask them, they will help you. They should have pads and helmets there too. If you don’t have a skateshop near you, you can look online or go to a sporting goods store, or maybe an alternative sports store.
