Arizona is full of Family Friendly
If you own real estate in Arizona with his family or are here for a visit, there is no shortage of things to do with their children. Statewide, there are a plethora of opportunities for children and parents alike to be entertained, educated and capture memories of family activities in Arizona that will stay with them throughout life.
If you are in the Phoenix area, make sure review the family, the Phoenix Zoo in Papago Park. About 1,200 animals from around the world call the zoo home beautifully maintained. The metropolitan area Phoenix is filled with other activities for children, parks and water facilities for all types of children's museums.
Just north of Phoenix is the Montezuma Castle National Monument. Most children are inherently fascinated by castles, only instead of a traditional castle with turrets and a moat, it is in a cliff recess a hundred feet above the Verde Valley. It was built in the 12th century by the Sinagua farmers and was once five-story, 20 room residence. Visitors can walk along a path until you reach the impressive homes.
Drive north and you'll find fabulous Sedona, home of four-wheeled travel drivers that provide fast, bumpy ride through the surrounding hills and deserts. Children often comment that the games may seem like a roller coaster through its twists and turns and drops. Sedona is also home to numerous shops and boutiques with a variety of sweet, toys and souvenirs, including the ever-popular paperweight containing a scorpion encased in conserved (but thankfully deceased).
All the way north is the Grand Canyon, and no trip to Arizona would complete without at least one day in this world-famous landmark. In addition to its spectacular views, the canyon offers hiking trails of varying lengths and difficulties, many of which are ideal for youngsters. Remember when the Brady Bunch made their way to the bottom of the canyon on mules? If you and your kiddos are feeling brave, you can follow in the footsteps of Greg mule, Marcia Brady and the entire group as a mule-ander the Bright Angel trail.
Head south of Tucson and you'll find in the href = "http://www.russlyon.com/blog/tucson/arizona-sonora-desert-museum-in-tucson-is-world-renowned/" Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, full of creepy exhibitions-creepy living and more manageable sample of fossils, rocks and minerals, all natives of the area. Children and their families are also sure to enjoy a trip to the nearby Kartchner Caverns, figuratively and literally a very cool cave. The Rotunda / Throne tour includes a chance to see bat guano 45,000 years old, this alone would be reason enough for many children want to come to visit the caves.
No matter what you do, do is easy to keep your family happy and occupied in Arizona. And as a big plus, adults who come for the trip is sure to have as much fun as the young crowd.
