A question for the atheists?
I saw a man a little while back standing on a street corner with a sandwich board sign reading how the end is near and to put your faith in “god”. Anyhow, I’ve been thinking about making a sign of my own. I want it to read “GODs are control mechanisms created by governments with the sole intention of instilling fear, hatred, and obedience into their people.” Well, my question is…Should I wear this sign and stand across the street from the “end is near” guy the next time I see him out? I could wave at him or something.
As an atheist I would still have more respect for the other man, but it’s a free country, if you want to upset people who are in a better place than yourself, go ahead.
